Movie Club - THAT'S A LOT OF SNOW!

It’s that time of the year again: warm fuzzy mittens, fireplaces, hot chocolate, and a healthy helping of nitroglycerin and flamethrowers! This month is curated by long-time movie club members Alex Eastman and Barrett Muth, and they have an action-packed lineup for us!

As usual, we’ll meet at 6pm at Collective Chemistry except for our bonus (non-themed) outing to DR. STRANGELOVE, OR: HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND LOVE THE BOMB for the SIFF Movie Club, which starts at 6pm at SIFF Uptown Theater.

December 18: The Thing

1982, directed by John Carpenter

A twelve-man research team at a remote Antarctic research station discovers an alien buried in the snow for over 100,000 years. Soon unfrozen, the form-changing creature wreaks havoc, creates terror… and becomes one of them.
