January 31: The Gold Rush

Our first silent film at movie club! Charlie Chaplin’s iconic character of the little tramp goes to Alaska in search of gold. Chaplin said that this was his favorite film that he made, and for good reason: it’s funny, imaginative, heartwarming, and so so very cold.
